PLATTEVILLE (WKOW) -- Grant County police made a drug bust on the road Wednesday.
The sheriff's department received a report of an impaired driver traveling southbound on Highway 151 just after 8:00PM.
Police spotted the car and pulled it over.
Deputies and the K-9 unit searched the car and found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and the remains of a portable meth lab.
The driver, 33-year-old Teresa Roth of Dubuque, IA, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a narcotic.
Her passengers, 20-year-old Troy Laufenberg of Dubuque, 29-year-old Keith Ellis of Farley, IA, 23-year-old Courtney Oneill of Dubuque and 21-year-old Jenny Pike of Dubuque were also arrested.
It was discovered that all the ingredients used to manufacture meth had been purchased from Platteville area businesses.
After an initial court appearance Friday, Roth, Ellis, Oneill and Pike were released on signature bonds.
Laufenberg is still in custody awaiting extradition to Iowa.
He already had a warrant for his arrest in that state for possessing dangerous drugs.
