LA CROSSE (WKOW) -- We got a break from the mosquitos with the hot, dry summer, but yellow jackets are out with a vengeance.
Turns out the bugs like the extreme heat.
Because they nest in the ground, the lack of rain means their nests didn't get washed out, as some of them usually do.
All of those bugs need to eat.
