
Joshua Steinle, 30MADISON (WKOW) -- A Madison man gets his fifth OWI after police pull him over with a traffic sign stuck to his hood.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office says Sunday around 2:00 a.m., a witness called saying a vehicle was going south on CTH N near CTH TT dragging a traffic warning sign. The vehicle also had a flat front tire.
A nearby deputy stopped the car and noticed the sign was still attached to the hood. The sheriff's office says the driver, 30-year-old Joshua Steinle failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for felony OWI, fifth offense.
Steinle was booked into the Dane County Jail. Investigators say he is also being cited for OAR, Failure To Notify Police of an Accident, Hit and Run- Property Adjacent to Highway, and for Operating Left of Center.
