Presidential debate schedule announced


WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKOW) -- The dates and locations have been announced for the 2012 Presidential debates.

According to the 2012 Election Central website, debates between President Barack Obama and challenger Mitt Romney begin in October.

All debates will be televised--

Presidential Debate
Topic: Domestic policy
Air Time: 9-10:30 p.m. ET
Location: University of Denver, Denver, CO
Moderator: Jim Lehrer, host of PBS' NewsHour
October 11, 2012
Vice Presidential Debate
Topic: Foreign & domestic policy
Air Time: 9-10:30 p.m. ET
Location: Centre College, Danville, KY
Moderator: Martha Raddatz, ABC News chief foreign correspondent
October 16, 2012
Presidential Debate
Topic: town meeting format, including domestic & foreign policy
Air Time: 9-10:30 p.m. ET
Location: Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY
