MADISON, Wis (WKOW) - Jared Abbrederis has already locked up one of the Badgers starting receiver spots. Now he's focused on eliminating his turnovers. The only UW receiver with extensive experience fumbled the ball twice last season including late in the Rose Bowl against Oregon. Abbrederis is using that play specifically as motivation this year.
"I definitely think about that a lot. One of my goals this year is ball security," says Abbrederis. "I think I lost two last year. In practices and things like that we're working on ball security. That's something I strain on. Making sure when I'm running with the ball it's high and tight no matter if I'm making a move or not. So really trying to focus on that."
