Sikh temple shooting 911 tapes released

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Milwaukee County authorities have released the 911 recordings from the August 5 shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek.

One man calls and reports the address of the temple. As he says, "There's a shooting," the sound of gunfire can be heard in the background.

Another woman calls to report hearing gunfire and seeing someone shot. The call gets disconnected, and the dispatcher calls back twice with no luck.

The gunman, Wade Michael Page, opened fire at the temple before shooting himself in the head after being wounded by an officer.
