MADISON (WKOW) -- UW football coach Bret Bielema shared some new information Thursday regarding the Montee Ball attack investigation.
Bielema was a guest on the Jim Rome radio show and admitted two of his players were involved in a fight the Friday before Ball was attacked, but Ball was not involved.
"There was a situation where probably 15 to 20 of our guys were at some type of gathering and something briefly went down but it didn't involve Montee in any way. Two of my other players were involved. I've taken action with them and kind of let that be what it is because the police were involved in that situation, but nothing has come out of that and again, Montee wasn't involved in any way, shape or form with that," Bielema said.
Bielema did not name the two players involved in that fight. He also said he believes the investigation will be resolved soon.
