Going "Over the Edge" for Special Olympics

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) – Some thrill seekers went "Over the Edge" for Special Olympics Wisconsin Thursday night, including 27 News Anchor Amber Noggle.

On Friday, at least 25 people will rappel eleven stories down the Tenney Building.  Participants had to raise money to take part in the event. Special Olympics Wisconsin hopes to raise about $30,000 to go towards its programs.

"As long as you don't look down, you trust your ropes and listen to what they're telling you, it's a great experience," said Special Olympics Regional Director John Weichelt.

WKOW is a proud sponsor of "Over the Edge."
