
MADISON (WKOW) -- Dane County Humane Society says more than 40 cats were adopted during the 29-hour Catapalooza event.

MADISON (WKOW) -- If you're looking to adopt a furry new friend, now may be the right time to do so.
The Dane County Humane Society is holding their annual Catapalooza.
The 29-hour Adopt-a-Thon began at noon Friday and ends Saturday night at 5:00.
All adult cats are only $29.
They are originally $40.
Organizers say it's a great time for the whole family..
"People, when they come in, are generally just really excited about finding a new family member and its a great exciting time to come in and do that," says Doug Brown of the Humane Society.
In addition to the adoption special, there's also some family friendly events.
