14-year-old girl is youngest person to swim Lake Ontario

TORONTO, Ontario (WKOW) -- A 14-year-old girl becomes the youngest person to swim across Lake Ontario.

Annaleise Carr started her journey Saturday night. Twenty-seven hours and more than 30 miles later she arrived at Toronto's Marilyn Bell Park.

Carr completed her swim in order to raise money for Camp Trillion, which is a recreation program for kids with cancer.

Her original goal was to raise $30,000, but her parents say she has raised about $80,000, so far.
