SNELLVILLE, Ga. (WKOW) -- The young Georgia woman who's recovering from flesh-eating bacteria is back at her newly renovated home.
Aimee Copeland, 24, spent three months in the hospital and a rehabilitation clinic. She got the rare infection after she fell from a homemade zip line and cut her leg. Doctors had to amputate both her hands, her left leg and right foot.
The donated work includes access ramps, a new bathroom, a fitness room and an elevator. Copeland's father says his daughter is happy to be home.
