Crowds brave rain for Bert Blain Heart Walk

JANESVILLE (WKOW) -

Historically, one of the top heart walks in the nation, the Bert Blain Memorial heart Walk drew hundreds out to Palmer Park on a rainy morning in Janesville.

And they rewarded when the rain stopped just before the 8:30 a.m. start time of the 20th annual event.

During those 20 years the people who have supported this heart walk have raised nearly $3 million.

And Blain Supply is among the top heart walk fundraising companies in America, raising $257,000 last year.
