ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- Authorities say a 23-year-old Beloit man was arrested for multiple charges early Wednesday morning.

Officers learned that the suspect had left and attempted to track down his vehicle. A sheriff's deputy tried to stop the suspect, but he drove away.
Officials say their pursuit of the suspect reached speeds of 80 mph as he drove south on S. Highway 213 towards Beloit. Police eventually stopped following the suspect, but were able to get the vehicle's registration information.
The suspect, 23-year-old Samuel Timmons, was later arrested at this home for Knowingly Flee an Officer,
Operating While Revoked, Failure to stop at a stop sign, and Disorderly
Conduct. Timmons was booked in and
released from the Rock County Jail. A court date has not yet been set.
