Windsor man arrested for marijuana growing operation

WINDSOR (WKOW) -- A Town of Windsor man is in Dane County Jail for allegedly growing marijuana inside his home.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on Wednesday at 3937 Sunnyvale Drive in the Town of Windsor. The warrant was a result of an investigation into suspected drug activity.

After searching the residence, officials found a marijuana growing operation in the basement. They say they found a total of 11 plants, along with other drug distribution material.

The resident, 21-year-old Cody Kaltenberg, was arrested for maintaining a drug dwelling and manufacturing THC. Cody is currently incarcerated at the Dane County Jail.

The investigation was a joint effort between the Dane County Sheriff's Office, Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation and the Deforest Police Department.
