Cupertino, Calif. (WKOW) -- If you're trying to get rid of your old iPhone and Apple equipment, now you can get store credit as part of Apple's new recycling program.
After answering a few questions online about the type of product and its condition, credit will be immediately generated. But you can't turn it in at Apple stores; it has to be shipped.
The program begins ahead of the widely anticipated announcement about the iPhone5. Technology experts expect the announcement to come on September 12, with the phones getting shipped by September 21.
