MANILA, Philippines (WKOW) - The Philippines is hit by a massive undersea earthquake.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 7.9 magnitude quake hit off the shore of the eastern Philippines.
There are no reports yet of damage or injuries, but there is a tsunami alert in effect in several coastal areas.
