ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE (WKOW) – President Barack Obama will visit Louisiana on Monday to look at the damage left from Tropical Storm Isaac.
A White House spokesman announced the trip while aboard Air Force One as Obama flew to Texas to speak to members of the military and their families.
The storm reached hurricane strength as it hit New Orleans two days ago, on the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Meanwhile, Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney has scheduled a last-minute Friday visit to Lafitte, Louisiana. Romney's tour of the damage comes one day after the conclusion of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
