
WEST ALLIS (WKOW) -- About 3,000 people interested in urban and small farms are expected in West Allis, near Milwaukee, next weekend for the 2nd National-International Urban & Small Farm Conference.
The conference runs September 7-9 at Wisconsin State Fair Park and is hosted by Growing Power, a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable farming methods.
More than a dozen workshops and conferences are scheduled for the event.
