"Tooth Fairy" more generous this year

MADISON (WKOW) -- How much does the "Tooth Fairy" give your kids?

On average, it gave $3 per tooth to children this year. That's up 15-percent from last year, according to a survey by Visa. The survey was conducted through 2,000 phone interviews last month.

Visa also released a free app and website, called the "Tooth Fairy Calculator". The company says it's meant to help parents determine how much money the Tooth Fairy should leave their children.
