
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WKOW) -- Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Charlotte, North Carolina, for his Democratic Party's national convention.
Biden and his wife, Jill, landed Tuesday afternoon.
The vice president is set to accept his party's nomination for a second term on Thursday evening. He hasn't planned any public events before then.
However, his wife is scheduled to visit various breakfasts and lunches with delegates throughout the week.
First lady Michelle Obama is set to address the Democratic National Convention on its opening night, Tuesday. President Barack Obama plans to accept his party's nomination for re-election on Thursday evening, on the final night of the DNC.
