
Altreo ScottTOWN OF MADISON (WKOW) -- Police say the suspect from the weekend officer-involved shooting has been booked into jail.
18-year-old Altreo Scott of Platteville was booked on tentative charges of attempted armed robbery, second degree recklessly endangering safety and possession of marijuana.
Authorities say Scott was allegedly brandishing a gun and accosting people early Sunday morning near the intersection of Fish Hatchery Road and Greenway Cross in the Town of Madison.
Police shot Scott after he showed the firearm.
Scott had been recovering in the hospital until his move to the jail.
Two police officers are on paid leave, one each from the Town of Madison and Fitchburg police departments. The leave is standard protocol for officer-involved shootings.
