
MADISON (WKOW)-- Police aren't sure if the teens who pointed a pellet gun at a mother and son are the same as an incident that happened 15 minutes later.
The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on Madison's north side.
Madison police report a victim was approached outside his home by two black men. One of them pointed a handgun at him and demanded money. The victim turned over a small amount of cash.
The victim was not hurt. The suspects were not located.
Police are investigating both incidents.

MADISON (WKOW)-- Madison police report three teenagers fired shots at a mother and her adult son early Thursday morning.
The mother and son were inside their home when they heard car doors slam. They went outside to see what was happening, and saw three male teenagers. One of the teens pulled out a handgun, and pointed it at the mother and son.
Several shots were fired, but no one was struck or injured. Officials believe the gun was a pellet gun. The suspects have not yet been located.
