President to formally accept democratic nomination Thursday night

MADISON (WKOW) -- Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama are set to speak Thursday night at the Democratic National Convention, to accept their nominations for re-election.

After days of bad weather in Charlotte, North Carolina, the President's speech will no longer be held at the Bank of America stadium. Instead, it will take place at the Time Warner Cable arena, where the convention has taken place.
