Man arrested for Grant County hit and run

VILLAGE OF DICKEYVILLE (WKOW) -- An Ohio man has been arrested after a hit and run accident involving several cars Wednesday along Main Street in the Town of Dickeyville.

Police say the driver, 60-year-old Dennis Barghois fled the scene and was later located west of Cuba City in the Township of Smeiser.

Barghois was arrested for 5th Offense OWI and taken to the Grant County Jail. He was also cited for Inattentive Driving, Hit and Run Unattended Vehicle, Fail to Notify Police of Accident, Operate Motor Vehicle without Insurance, and Knowingly Operate Motor Vehicle without Driver's License Causing Property Damage.

He is awaiting his initial appearance.
