Small plane crashes in Kansasville in SE Wisconsin
KANSASVILLE (WKOW) – A small plane crashed into a yard
along Eagle Lake in southeastern Wisconsin on Sunday.
The Racine County Sheriff's Office has released little
information thus far and there is no immediate word on casualties or how many
people were aboard.
Brian Block, who lives just a block from the crash scene,
told the Racine Journal Times that he heard a loud plane engine just before the
crash around noon. He said he heard a
boom and his whole house shook. Block
jumped in his car and drove to the scene where he saw flames coming from a small
plane in his neighbor's yard.
Travis Barstad was six houses away. He said he stepped outside and saw smoke,
cars, sheds and trees on fire.
