BOSTON (WKOW) -- The Democratic and Republican presidential candidates are gearing up for the final stretch of their closely contested race for the White House.
President Barack Obama is scheduled to be at the White House on Monday, while Mitt Romney is holding a campaign rally in Mansfield, Ohio.
Meanwhile, Obama raised more campaign money in August than Romney. The president and Democrats raised more than $114 million in August, while Romney brought in just over $111 million. August was the first time in four months the Democrats outraised the GOP.
