Water main break in Fitchburg

FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- Officials in Fitchburg report a large water main break in the city Monday night. 

In an email received by WKOW at 8:15 p.m., officials stated the break was "causing a wide spread problem."

The statement also says city crews are aware of the problem and are working to fix it. 

Fitchburg officials predict the water should be restored sometime this evening.
