FITCHBURG (WKOW)-- Crews have resolved the issue with a water main break in the City of Fitchburg.

The Fitchburg Police Department the water main break at Westbound PD, near Verona Road was taken care of early Tuesday morning.  There should not be any traffic issues, as the incident has been resolved.

FITCHBURG (WKOW) -- Crews are still working on a large water main break early Tuesday morning in the City of Fitchburg.

The Fitchburg Police Department says the incident happened Monday evening on westbound PD near Verona Road. City crews began fixing it right away, but were still working on it as of 2:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Fitchburg police say this could cause some traffic issues, especially later in the morning if the issue isn't fixed by the morning commute.
