
MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Residents across Wisconsin are marking the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Gov. Scott Walker has ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff in remembrance on Tuesday. The governor attended a morning ceremony in Milwaukee, and later saluted Wisconsin's wounded warriors at an event in Madison.
The Madison Police Department will hold a ceremony Tuesday afternoon on the city's east side.
The Madison Fire Department held a public blood drive in coordination with the American Red Cross and Madison police Tuesday morning.
