Paul Ryan visits with service members on 9/11 anniversary

OAK CREEK (WKOW) – On the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks, vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan visited military and fire officials in the Milwaukee area.

The Janesville Congressman went to a fire station in Oak Creek, where he had lunch with about two dozen fire department officials. He thanked them for putting their lives on the line everyday.

Ryan also spoke to about 80 members of the Wisconsin 128th Air National Guard refueling wing. He also thanked them for their service and shook their hands.

Ryan will hold a campaign event on Wednesday in De Pere.
