
ROCKFORD (WKOW) -- Police have called off their extensive search for a murder suspect Tuesday afternoon.
Officials were using the AIR-ONE helicopter and K9 unites to look for Kody Walsh after a reported sighting.
Police say Walsh is the main suspect in Sunday's murder of 36-year-old Lori Daniels, of Janesville, on Interstate 90 near South Beloit.

ROCKFORD (WKOW) -- Police are have set up a perimeter in one Rockford, Illinois area after a reported sighting of a murder suspect.
Officials are looking for Kody Walsh after a Sunday morning murder. He's accused of killing 36-year-old Lori Daniels, of Janesville, in a car traveling on Interstate 90 near South Beloit.
Authorities say Walsh then led police on a chase before crashing the vehicle in Rockford. He allegedly fired one shot at police before running away on foot.
Police say schools near the perimeter have been locked down while the search for Walsh is underway.
