MADISON (WKOW) – IRONMAN Wisconsin 2013 sold out in record time on Monday.
In just nine hours, participants reserved their space for next year's race.
"IRONMAN Wisconsin has proven over time to be a very challenging race," race director Ryan Richards said in a statement. "The atmosphere surrounding the event, including the great spectator support, brings out the best in the athletes along with some exciting competition within the divisions."
Limited IRONMAN Foundation slots are still available for the event. The money raised goes to local charities and the Madison Area Sports Commission to fund its youth grants program which helps benefit local youth sports groups. Click here for more information on the IRONMAN Foundation.
