INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (WKOW) -- A Minnesota company is pulling packaged fruit from its shelves.
Cut Fruit Express Inc. of Inver Grove Heights says the packages contain cantaloupe.
Cantaloupe has been recalled by supplier DFI Marketing, Inc., because of potential salmonella contamination.
The packages were distributed through September 5 and sold in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Cut Fruit Express says it's voluntarily recalling the packages as a precaution. No illnesses have been reported.
Customers who may have bought the recalled product should not to eat it, and either throw it away or return it to where it was purchased.
