PARIS (WKOW)-- A British official says the royal family is considering legal options after photos apparently of Prince William's wife, Kate, sunbathing topless in the south of France were published in a French magazine.
The photos Friday in the magazine "Closer" were blurry and shot from a distance; in London, a St. James Palace official said the images appeared to be genuine and said, "we feel a line has been crossed with their publication." The magazine claims the pictures were taken on a guesthouse terrace on France, where William and Kate were on vacation this month.
An aide traveling with William and Kate in Malaysia said the couple "are saddened to learn about the alleged photos."
