MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- President Obama will hold a rally Saturday on the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee. The visit comes as two new polls show his lead widening over Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in the state.
Wednesday, a Marquette University Law School poll shows Obama leading 54 percent to 40 percent. That poll was conducted from Sept. 13 to Sunday and included 601 likely voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
A Quinnipiac University poll released on the same day shows Obama up 51 percent to 45 percent. The poll of 1,485 voters was conducted from Sept. 11 through Monday and has a margin of error of plus of minus 2.5 percentage points.
