Dane County voting on funding for domestic abuse victims

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Board will vote on a proposal Thursday to provide funding for emergency shelter for domestic violence victims.

The plan would provide $15,000 to Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, or DAIS.

The money would allow DAIS to offer alternative housing like hotel rooms to victims when their shelter is full.
