Extra seating for "God particle" lecture at UW

MADISON (WKOW) -- So popular is the discovery of the "God particle", that an extra lecture by one of the researchers has been added at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Due to overwhelming interest, a second lecture on the discovery of a new physics particle has been added for Friday, September 21, at 6 p.m.

University of Wisconsin-Madison Enrico Fermi and Vilas Professor of Physics Sau Lan Wu will be presenting "Discovery of the Higgs - the God Particle" Friday evening in the H. F. DeLuca Forum at the Wisconsin Institutes of Discovery at 330 N. Orchard Street.

Wu was originally scheduled to give just one presentation, on Thursday night, but overwhelming demand convinced him and UW officials to add a second lecture the following night.
