WKOW is pleased to announce the winners of our Back to School Photo Contest!
We asked our Wake Up Wisconsin viewers to send in their best Back to School photos of their kids for a chance to win a $500 gift card to the University Book Store.
Our Wake Up team selected the top 3 Back to School photos, then we asked you to vote online for your favorite.
Congratulations to Tanner! His photo received the most votes. He'll receive a $500 gift card to University Book Store.
The photo with brothers 7-year-old Tanmay and 5-year-old Ishaan came in 2nd place. They'll receive a Wisconsin Shere Chair from the University Book Store.
And, the photo with Betty Claire took the 3rd place spot. She'll two Wisconsin Tri-Leg Stools, also from the University Book Store.

Official Contest Rules:
1. No purchase necessary.
2. To be eligible upload your Back to School photo to connect.wkow.com. Viewers must fill out the form on the page completely. Entries sent in another format will be disqualified. Three qualifiers will be chosen from the entries received which correctly followed all the directions for entry. The three qualifiers will be required to supply the following information to the station: name, current address, current telephone number and email address. Only one entry is allowed.
Contest entries accepted August 25-September 14, 2012. The 27 News Wake Up Wisconsin Team will select the Top 3 Back to School photos based on the information provided. Then we'll ask viewers to vote on your favorite Back to School photo from the Top 3 online September 17-20. The winner will be announced during Wake Up Wisconsin on Friday, September 21, 2012.
3. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries received.
4. WKOW will conduct the contest and WKOW will be the final judge on all matters related to this contest. The judges' decisions are final, binding and conclusive on all matters. By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges relative to the contest.
5. Must be at least 21 years of age to win.
6. In the event of non-compliance, an alternative winner may be selected.
7. Winner's voice, name & likeness may be used for publicity purposes without further compensation.
8. Employees of WKOW and their families, its subsidiaries, divisions and related companies, its promotional agencies and all participating promotional partners are not eligible.
9. Prize value is approximately $500. Taxes are the responsibility of the winner. No cash substitutions permitted. Prize is non-transferable.
10. WKOW reserves the right to settle all disputes and to change and alter the details of the contest as circumstances merit.
11. WKOW requires winners to come to the WKOW at 5727 Tokay Boulevard, Madison, WI 53719 weekdays between the hours of 8am-5pm to claim their prize. Winners must sign a liability release, publicity release and accept or decline release. Prizes cannot be mailed.
12. Winners are not eligible to win another contest with WKOW for 30 days after winning.
