MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are looking for a suspect in a series of dorm room break-ins at the University of Wisconsin.
UW Police say a young man stole items from several rooms in Sellery Hall, B-Tower in the early morning hours of Sept. 21.
The suspect is described as white, age 18-20, 5'8" to 5'10", approximately 160 lbs., short dark brown hair, wearing a black fleece jacket, a white shirt, and blue jeans.
Police say he opened unlocked doors and stole items when he found residents sleeping.
Residents are reminded to lock their doors, especially when sleeping, and to not open or hold open any doors that require an access card or key for entry for someone who does not have that card or key.
