Fire severely damages Middleton home

MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- A Middleton home has significant damage after a large fire started Monday afternoon.

Firefighters and emergency responders were called to the 5400 block of Larkspur Road in Middleton around 2:10 p.m. on Monday.

Officials say the fire appears to have started in the garage area, and spread to the house.

Crews pulled a dog safely from the burning building.

There are no reports of injuries.

No further information is being released at this time.
