MADISON (WKOW) -- The union representing Madison teachers and the MMSD Board of Education are going back to the bargaining table.
Board members agreed Monday night to enter into collective bargaining negotiations with Madison Teachers Inc. (MTI) and AFSCME.
MTI asked the board last week to resume talks after Dane County Judge Juan Colas' ruling that declared parts of the bargaining law unconstitutional.
MTI Executive Director John Matthews says a specific date for the negotiations hasn't been set, but they could begin later this week.
