MADISON (WKOW) -- After having a temporary, albeit familiar, chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for more than a year, the UW System is looking for a permanent replacement.
On Monday, UW System President Kevin Reilly appointed a 25-member search and screen committee to find a new leader for UW-Madison.
The committee will choose five finalists, who will then be interviewed for the job by Reilly and a UW Regent committee.
Interim Chancellor David Ward is a previous UW chancellor and has served in his current capacity since July 2011.
