Menasha teen gets probation for crashing into girls

Posted:

OSHKOSH (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin teenager has been sentenced to two years probation for trying to run down two girls with her car.

On Tuesday, a judge in Winnebago County also ordered 18-year-old Ashli Lindvig, of Menasha, to perform 100 hours of community service.

Lindvig pleaded no contest to charges of substantial battery and negligent operation of a dangerous weapon for hitting the girls with her car during an altercation. Lindvig allegedly had gotten into a fight with the girls in the days leading up to last March's incident.

If Lindvig successfully completes her probation, she will be eligible to have her criminal record erased.
