Police: Student shoots self at Oklahoma junior high

STILLWATER, Okla. (WKOW) -- Police in Stillwater, Oklahoma say one person is dead after a shooting a junior high school.

Stillwater police say a student apparently committed suicide around 7:50 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Stillwater Junior High.

Police say there is no further danger at the school.

School officials say students are being taken to a nearby shopping center where they can be picked up by parents.

Stillwater is located about 70 miles west of Tulsa.
