TOULON, Ill. (WKOW) -- The Journal-Star reports 19-year-old mother Kendra Meaker of Toulon has been charged with obstruction of justice and endangering the life or health of a child.
Police believe she dumped her 3-week-old daughter along the side of the road and lied to them about where the baby was. Authorities issued an Amber Alert Thursday for Mia Graci Thompson.
Bond was set at $100,000 for Meaker. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services says her baby is being taken care of at a hospital.
The telephone number listed for Meaker in Toulon was disconnected. Her aunt, Sandra Hollingworth of Marseilles says the family has gone through "a hellish 24 hours."

Authorities say 19-year-old Kendra Elizabeth Meaker was arrested after reporting her 3-week-old daughter had been abducted Thursday from the back seat of her vehicle.
Authorities say Mia Graci Thompson was found Thursday along a road and is in good condition.
At the time the alert was issued, state police announced they were looking for a woman driving a gold or tan Buick or Pontiac. Officials released few other details.
Toulon is about 30 miles northwest of Peoria.

Officials say 3-week-old Mia Graci Thompson went missing Thursday at 8:10 a.m. in Toulon, Illinois.
Authorities say she was taken from the back seat of a vehicle in front of the Toulon Post Office in Stark County, Illinois. Officials say the suspect's vehicle is a gold or tan Buick or Pontiac. They do not have any information about the license plate.
Authorities say the suspect is a white woman with brown hair. She was wearing yellow sweat pants.
Police say Mia was last seen wearing a yellow onesie with a flower on the left shoulder, blue jeans with pink flowers on cuffs.
