
GRANT COUNTY (WKOW) -- Officials are investigating a report of vandalism to a mailbox in Grant County.
Officials say a Beetown resident notified the Grant County Sheriff's Office about the vandalism on Wednesday.
The 68-year-old man told authorities that he went to get his mail and found that his mailbox had been damage by what appeared to be a baseball bat.
Officials ask that anyone with information about this incident to call the sheriff's department at 608-723-2157.
Authorities will provide extra patrol in the area as they search for those responsible.
