DeForest man charged with sexual assault of a child

MADISON (WKOW) -- A 46-year-old DeForest man has been charged with repeated sexual assault of a child.

Jose M. Zamora was held at the Dane County Jail Friday. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, bail was set at $7,500.

The State Journal reports the criminal complaint states a boy told his parents that Zamora sexually assaulted him. The boy then told authorities it happened repeatedly, starting when he was about 6-years-old. The boy said Zamora told him not to tell anyone about the abuse.
