Wis. historical site to offer servant dinner

MADISON (WKOW) – A historical mansion in southwestern Wisconsin is offering a hands-on cooking workshop on Saturday, November 10.

This workshop will give cooking enthusiasts a chance to make dishes that reflect the diversity of the site's servants.

The Villa Louis mansion in Prairie du Chien will hold the workshop in the mansion's kitchen and preserve house.  There will be a family-style dinner after the workshop and a tour of the estate.  The menu will feature foods that reflect the servant staff's ethnic diversity.

Tickets are $45 a person.
