WAUNAKEE (WKOW) -- Sunday wrapped up a weekend of fun in Waunakee, with the 8th annual Wauktoberfest.

It's an event that celebrates the area's German heritage. Organizers say it brings out the entire community.

"We've got guys cooking our bratwursts on tripod grills, we've got the Lions and the Jaycee's serving food, we've got the rotary serving beer," says organizer Phil Willems.

All proceeds from Wauktoberfest are donated to local charities. WKOW is a proud sponsor of the event.
