Thompson's campaign says Christie will appear with Thompson on October 17 in Green Bay. Other event details have not been released.

MADISON (WKOW) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie plans to campaign for Republican Senate candidate Tommy Thompson in Wisconsin later this month.
Thompson's campaign announced Monday that Christie will appear with Thompson on October 17. More details, including where in the state the visit will be, were not announced.
Thompson calls Christie a "battle-tested reformer who knows how to make the tough decisions."
Thompson faces Democrat Tammy Baldwin in the race for Wisconsin's open Senate seat. The candidates debated for the first time Friday night. Their next debate is scheduled for October 18 in Wausau.
